INTTRA to Lead Panel Discussion at
Supply Chain & Transportation USA Exhibition & Conference

Norwalk, CT, March 4, 2014 - Supply chains have always consisted of many links, as the name itself implies, but the number and complexity of these links are multiplied in today’s global trading environment. Moving goods half-way around the world to arrive on time at a commercial facility or consumer’s doorstep requires an unprecedented level of collaboration and synchronization among a host of far-flung supply chain partners.

For effective collaboration to occur, however, companies first must have visibility to events and milestones occurring throughout the supply chain. Celecki will lead a panel discussion on The Collaborative Network: Succeeding in a New Era of Supply Chain Shipment Visibility at the upcoming Supply Chain & Transportation USA Exhibition & Conference, to be held March 17-20 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

She and panel members Valerio Giunta, liner manager GTBEA for Mediterranean Shipping Company, and Sean Kelley, vice president of business development at Bonded Logistics, will examine how collaborative e-commerce networks and digital technologies are setting a new pathway toward true end-to-end supply chain shipment visibility.

A different perspective on visibility in the supply chain will be provided by a panel focusing on how barcodes, RFID, RTLS and mobile computing solutions are impacting supply chain operations worldwide. Panel members will describe how their companies harnessed the visibility provided by barcodes, RFID and enterprise mobile computing to positively impact some of the largest supply chain operations in the world. Discussion topics will include the diverse operational challenges they faced and how innovative and unique solutions made the difference between success and the status quo.
